Andover Borough Office of Emergency Management

The Andover Borough Office of Emergency Management is responsible for the deploying of resources during an event.  We are also responsible for the coordination of resources requested from other agencies outside of Andover Borough.

Our staff consists of an Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) and a Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator (DEMC).

EMC E. Scott Danielson (22-30) is a Lakeland EMS Emergency Medical Technician and Rescue Technician, NJ Forest Fire Warden, Captain and Haz-Mat Technician for Warren County Department of Public Safety.  He is a certified Emergency Manager, Incident Commander and Resource Leader.  He is also the Project Manager for the Northwest New Jersey Interoperability Communications Project, which includes Sussex County.

DEMC John P. Hoag (22-31) is an Andover Borough Fireman.  He is a certified Emergency Manager, Incident Commander and Rescue Technician.

Andover Borough OEM is overseen by Sussex County OEM.  All information filters down from FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security through the NJ State Police OEM & Homeland Security to Sussex County OEM and it's Municipal OEM.

Andover Borough OEM works closely with other Borough Departments.  We provide assistance to the Water Department during water emergencies in the form of obtaining resources not available in town and coordinating traffic control through the Andover Borough Fire Department and it's Fire Police Officers.
